Merci! Honestly, a bit more fair play, pliz. We just booed George Osborne at London 2012 and that was entirely justified.

I booed the Brazil volleyball coach but that was because he looked mean and challenged a very clear call and they were winning anyway.

You've gone native. :))

Actually at London, they downgraded the men's gymnastics team from silver to bronze and moved Japan up because of some incorrect scoring or something, and the arena was filled with boos. Although it wasn't me, honest.

Snoop Dogg appears to be an unofficial mascot. He's always popping up at one event or another!

I am loving all the Snoop references and music being played in some of the beeb’s coverage. Amazing.

I am stunned Peaty swam with COVID! I barely made it down the road to the tube!

He’s not the only rapper involved, Flavor Flav from Public Enemy is funding the USA women’s water polo team. His reason is that he’s a dad of daughters and heard they were struggling so has stumped up some cash. He has also changed the clock he wears around his neck to a waterproof one.

I am loving the gymnastics this evening and would love to see some highlights from the mountain biking- I was following that on the BBC text device and it sounded immense!

I just got home and J gave me a blow by blow account of the UK biking victory :)) Sounds like it was F1 with pedal power!

There were some massive cheers from the Grand Palais while we were outside there a little while ago but I don’t know what they were doing inside.
