I do too. And all the cameras pointing at Simone Biles after her fall from the balance beam, resulting in no medal, was horrific.

Why did the men and women all fallen off their apparatus though? Is it just a psychological thing between them all? So bizarre, poor Matt Baker was beside himself!

Me too! I so feel for the Romanian gymnast who's just lost the bronze, having thought she'd secured it.

Beth Tweddle thought they were potentially all just exhausted after so many days of competition.

I think for the beam in the women's competition there was a comment about there not being an absolute "standard" beam and this one had slightly rounded edges and the athletes may have training on a straight edge beam.

Her routine, and music, was excellent.

Tha waiting was weird. But I read something about dealing with a pitch intruder, which would explain it

Yeah, and her trainer-Mum didn't look very motherly, nor sympathetic.

I don't think that was the one in Bronze, it was her teammate I think.

The kayak cross is crazy fun! I'd drown. I think this is one of the events Epp was going to.

No standard beam? That’s nuts! Hopefully they’re all the same width though.

BBC text service was suggesting that when one of them goes, it shakes the others up so they all tend to fall after that. Six of the eight finalists fell today and the two that didn’t wobbled

Anyway bye bye swimming and gymnastics. I miss you already. :(

They were all falling like flies. The men were a bit like that too on the bars.

I can't believe how fast the 5000m women are. Puts my 26 minutes to shame.

So I’m not watching the sport, but am watching the opening ceremony properly now. I think it was brilliant. OK, a stadium could have been easier but it was so French. They absolutely do not give a shit and I love them for it.
