Agreed, Hazey. I’ll definitely make time to watch it at the next Olympics.
I’m not convinced about breaking though.

I'm enjoying the bouldering.
I missed the break dancing yesterday though I have seen clips.

This climbing is so hard! I am sad the British girl did not get a medal.

Re: Paris 2024
The breaking I saw was enjoyable, but it's definitely not a sport, so is an odd Olympic entry. Having said that, it costs nothing to do and is fun, so could encourage children and those without access to sporting facilities to get involved.
Agree on the bouldering/climbing. That's a great addition.

Aw!
I'm watching the high board diving and wondering if I'd even be able to make it up the steps without wibbling, never mind dive off from a handstand start!

I did the walk of shame down from the 10m platform many times when I was a child!
It’s just so bloody high when you are up there, plus you can see to the bottom of the pool, which makes it seem higher!

You were brave to even go up there, Flora. 10m is three stories high! :nerves:
Bronze for Noah!

I need to find out what the height of the diving plank was at White City pool. I'm terrified of water but always jumped off the top of that as a kid! :nerves:

Well, we popped out for a matinee at the theatre so have missed some things but it looks like our defending male modern pentathlon bloke fluffed the showjumping and is nearly a minute behind for the final run. I’ll be amazed if he can catch up to the leaders. He’ll need the run and shoot if his life.

I am very pleased for Noah Williams and his solo bronze. I will need to watch that back. Also excited for our taekwondo lad getting through to the 80kg final!

Re: Paris 2024
Apparently the horse riding element of the Modern Pentathlon is being dropped from the next Olympics, replaced with an obstacle course.

Re: Paris 2024
That was a great race! Well done, Georgia Bell, getting the bronze! Such a shame Laura Muir couldn't get closer.

Changing of the guard, with that! A national record for Bell. Muir was so gutsy!
