Has anyone watched the programme about Lord Lucan? It's a 3 parter on BBC 2, over 3 nights (2nd one was tonight) but it is also on iplayer. It's really good.

I finished it at the weekend and enjoyed it. I felt so sorry for the guy in it - he was the son of the woman who was murdered, he'd been adopted years before she died, and he only discovered as an adult that she was his mother. He's dedicated years to tracking down Lucan, but it's totally dominated his life, and while I can understand why that would be, it did seem to have cost him a lot.

Oh and the new Strike series starts on 16th Dec. It'll be interesting to see how they do it, it's the Ink Black Heart so it had all the online chat.

I started Nightsleeper just before bed last night. Not sure that was a great idea. It’s written by Line of Duty Jed Mercurio and is a bit daft but entertaining enough.

Did you finish this? We did last night and enjoyed it, it could probably have been a 4 parter but was fine the length it was.

I did. Sort of. I missed a couple of episodes but it was easy to catch up.

I really enjoyed Wolf Hall, Mark Rylance is brilliant. I also watched the two episodes of Strike which have aired. I'll finish that on Monday, as I'll be at my mums on Tuesday night so won't see the last part then.

What did you think of Strike? I can’t get into it at all. Fell asleep in 2nd episode. Most people have said that the book’s not that great and the gaming part of it is to blame.

I liked it, but its definitely easier to follow if you've read the book. And the book isn't great, so much of it is set online and it's clunky to read.

I love both the lead actors, they're exactly who I think of for the characters.

By the power of iPlayer, Sproglette (a big elementary fan) and I just watched all of Sherlock. I never watched the final series back in the day, and really hadn’t missed anything. :lol:

Started watching Playing nice on itv last night. It’s mildly preposterous and the Guardian slated it but it’s watchable enough so far.

It was absolutely appalling. Throughout the whole thing I was thinking how he got their address, why they hadn't spoken to a solicitor and then why didn't they call the police. Repeatedly.


I love Pottery Throwdown too. His Chapel restoration programme was wonderful too and I'm really hoping for a second series.
