Cabbage, pickled pear, pesto and walnuts.
Chargrilling the cabbage (as per recipe) would have been nicer than my air-fried version I think, but otherwise it was good.

The cabbage thing that Jay Rayner did on Saturday Kitchen looked really good this morning too.

I’m obsessed with this one pan ricotta stuffed shells with pumpkin sauce. The crispy panko/parmesan/sage/chilli topping is so delicious.

The pumpkin in the recipe comes from a can but I’m sure you can use actual pumpkin: https://ottolenghi.co.uk/pages/recipes/ ... pkin-sauce

Re: Hey! Good lookin’!
That sounds better than the pumpkin pie I made with my tin of pumpkin! Nobody was keen.
Your lemon meringue (?) looks good Est!
This is my other cabbagey recipe from when I was home alone. Kale, kimchi, seaweed and seeds. It was very tasty.

That sounds very umami, Wendy.
I stock up on cans this time of year as I love everything pumpkin and they're hard to find year round.
Yes the baking looks great especially the scones (?) in the middle. Are they chocolate chip?

Re: Hey! Good lookin’!
It was a lemon meringue pie. I slightly overcooked the pastry on the blind bake, but it was good.
The middle ones are NY style chocolate chip cookies. They were hefty big bois!

Basic looking but both so tasty. Steak bulgogi rice bowl and Turkish eggs.

Thanks Pip, I made a peanut gochuchang sauce to drizzle over the bulgogi. It was so good!
I love Turkish eggs too. Such a good way to have them.

Re: Hey! Good lookin’!
L asked for orange chicken for lunch yesterday and as Id need to defrost chicken I told him I’d make it for dinner. I did a version that avoids deep frying and most of the cooking is oven baking and it worked really well.
I didn’t make the spring rolls.
