I swear every itv drama turns ridiculous. I dont even bother anymore. Without fail I always wish I hadn’t wasted my time.

I don’t usually bother with things like that either. They are always too short to get invested in & turn ridiculous anyway.
I did enjoy The Split - Barcelona, on the BBC. Lots of very rich & hideous people though but nice scenery & good acting as usual.

Playing Nice was a ridiculous plot, but I enjoyed the scenery, the characters and it made me think about how I would feel if I had bonded with a child only to find he wasn't mine, and about how it would feel to know I had a child being raised by someone else (particularly a psychopath :)) ). Also, if someone set out to discredit my family by nefarious means, what could they use against us.

It does, they’ve been doing press. But she’s less miserable now.

Good. She was a right sour puss. Although justified as her husband did have an affair iirc.

I’ve just watched the first series of Unforgotten. It’s not usually my type of thing but I’d read it was really good & it was! I do know the spoiler for later on but I will enjoy catching up with the previous seasons with Nicola Walker in anyway.

Series is the plural, I think, confusingly!
They are so good, I watched the first 3 series together!

I’ve just watched the very last episode of Big Boys (ch4) and sobbed through some of it.
It’s been such a funny, heartwarming, sad story and I’m sorry to see it finish.

The new Race Across the World started tonight, I found myself very invested towards the end of the episode to find out which team would get to the checkpoint first! At the moment I think I want Elizabeth and Letitia to win, though they do have a slight advantage as one of them speaks some basic Mandarin.
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

Whilst my brain has been a bit fooked I’ve been watching everything with Henry Cole in it. Shed and buried, Junk and Disorderly etc. it’s a bit like Canal Boat Diaries. It washes over me

Did anyone else watch Our Welsh Chapel Dream? The first series was so lovely and this was just as wholesome.
