They had loads of nice ones in Matalan, Vodders, not expensive either, so if you wanted to test run a cheaper one first to see if you liked it, then there might be a good place to look.

Yours is lovely, Starry.

Ooooh, Shoebedoooo. That could be a plan. Do you wear them with heels or flats? I don't want it to flap around le ankles if I have heels on, but I don't want to be swamped either, but I am not as lickle as Pickle or you. HUM. Someone run my life for me please. :puppy:

It's a Mango one. I managed to find a new one on ebay by chance for cheaper than I would get it here.

It'll have to be taken up though - I am 5ft nothing, and the model is not.

I wear mine with both, Vodders, more often heels but I tend to get them so they really floor skim with flats and are a little off the floor with heels. I am not one to advise though, I don't take mine up, I just lift them to walk and let them drag in the muck the rest of the time.

I would end up doing that too. But they'll probably sit unflatteringly on my cankles. Has Bramble got one? She is taller than me, I need to know how she copes?

OR, OR, OR. I should just try one on. :lazy:

I have two now and they both just skim under my ankle bone so I will only be able to wear them with flats.

I do have a maxi skirt that swishes the floor and like Shoe, I either lift it up or let it drag. Again, I only ever wear flats (flip flops normally)
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.

I called, you arrived :))

I may be ok then, as I am a few inches off you really. I will try one on. I get infuriated with things that swish at ankles on me. It then looks trait stupid with heels. I don't know if I'd wear heels but I'd like an option. I will report back.

I had a new Boden catalogue through the door last night, so I've ordered this to see how it fits.

I'm obsessed with maxi dresses - I've worn my three for last 3 days while the weather's been nice. I've been wearing them with cardis, denim jackets and plimsolls so I don't freeze (yesterday at the beach I wore my uniqlo thermal leggings under one :shh:). I need more. My problem is that I like them plain. I have the Beena white company one in black and blue, and last season's jigsaw one in blue also.

Anyone seen any other plain ones - I like jersey/crepey/drapey fabric that skims lumps.

Pickle's dress is my favourite on this one!

I ordered the green one in a 12, it was way too big, so I got the 10 instead and I'm really pleased with it. I feel quite grown up in it.

Emma, Primark had loads of plain, single coloured ones last year and I saw one in New Look the other day too, it was quite bright yellow though which might not be your thing.
