Re: The Dressing Room
I bought these today, but in TK Maxx, for £25. Look at my delight at my bargain, and my twin’s.

Re: The Dressing Room
What a bargain! I love a jogger.
I am chuffed that I just received a “vintage” (1990s ) dress I won on eBay, with tags still on. It cost 99p! It must have been sitting in someone’s wardrobe for more than 20 years and never worn, and it’s in perfect condition. Totally out of season which is probably why I was the only bidder.

Nice one!
Persistence with the Seasalt website has paid off. It was saying this dress was in stock but wouldn’t let me add it to basket, so I emailed them about the problem and the next day I was able order it. If it’s any good, it will be my Christmas Day dress.

That's nice!
My Stitch Fix arrived on Wednesday and it was three tops, a pair of jeans and a pair of Chelsea boots. The only thing I was remotely tempted to keep was the jeans, but like someone else has said I thought they were a bit overpriced so it all went back yesterday.

That’s disappointing. Are you going to try again?

That’s disappointing Hippy.
I’ve ordered a SF box too, but I rejected all but one of the preview pieces so I’m not full of hope. To be fair a couple of the items were okay but too similar to things I already have - I definitely do not need a grey sweatshirt for example, but a couple were downright horrible.

Re: The Dressing Room
I think the issue is that if you base the preview / preferences selections on things you like, chances are that you already have something very similar at home. That was the case with two of the three tops and the third one was animal print which isn't my vibe. I quite liked the boots but I have wide feet and they were a bit pinch-y.
I'm disinclined to bother again.

Re: The Dressing Room
Yes, my last SF box was definitely things that I liked but wouldn’t have picked by myself which is what I’m after really. The top that I said yes to from the preview is almost the exact same fabric that I’ve already got in skirt and dress versions! I’ve also got wide feet and I think I said no shoes for that reason.

Re: The Dressing Room
Here it is with my stupid face removed. It’s not very exciting, but it’s exactly what I was looking for and excellent for 99p.

That’s perfect nince, what a bargain!! You look great sans face
Here’s the coat I just got, distinctly less bargainous than 99p, BUT still half price. I knew I’d want a new warmer coat than the one I brought with me, so this solves all my problems without having to trawl the sales. It was the last one on the rack

Re: The Dressing Room
Oh, I love both the coat and the dress!
I’ve had three stitch fix boxes since I signed up to them quarterly in Spring, and of the items I’ve kept, about half I’ve worn loads. The ones I bought “to try something new” have been worn a couple of times. No total duds yet.
