My car's air conditioning needs a new compressor which they say is £500, so this summer I won't be having any air con in the car.

What is happening here?! :mog: PD's toilet, Ken making talc prints with her arse, Beatrix eating stuff off the floor. Pull yourselves together, people! I'm mildly hysterical at these last pages.

10 second rule!!
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.

Is that for food on the floor or the length of time required for a satisfactory arse/wall talc print?
We're all snowflakes now.

If your back's against the wall, turn around and write on it.

I like that the main kitchen bin now doesn't smell as all the food waste goes into the food bin, which then gets frequently emptied.

My FML is that my husband's colleagues heard me yelling 'I'M ON THE TOILET!!!!!!!' in full fishwife mode at my children who were kicking off in the garden and shouting for me :shame: And he was all like 'don't worry, they don't mind' :woteva: I MIND THOUGH!!

I've put down one of those ant poison plastic discs outside where I think the nest is. Pray for me!

purple, why? They will go on their own within the day, and birds depend on them for food. You could poison birds apart from anything else.

Sorry but we have to use them every year in my house just for the normal ants as they come in the house in great numbers. The first year we were here I left it and after a few days there were actually lines of them marching up the sides of my kitchen cupboards and across the work surfaces. The ant bait stations completely enclose the bait inside a hard plastic disc with tiny holes which the ants go into. I wouldn't use the powder or liquid that you just put straight onto the ground.

We had several swarming nest sites in the garden last week. Ants have caused a load of damage in the garden this year. We organically whacked the swarms in the grass with a massive stick and the sparrows enjoyed them for breakfast the next morning.

We have had tons of swarming ants in all the plant pots. I'm enthusiastically overwatering to make the pots a hostile environment.
