Let's all smash things. Except Bean; maybe she should be careful.

Hello I have pre-holiday giddiness :disco: I have to get euros today and take my cat to the cattery.

Prox every time you say you've caught someone, I always feel vaguely guilty :look: I did pay for my tickets though, honest Guv.

That's good news, Bean.

I hope Fée always carries a change of clothes, in case of ripping :look:.

They are delicious! The chocolate coating is quite sweet but not sickly. The ice cream is lovely :ready:

No spreadsheets, dogs or Wimbledon in my future either. I'm off to be pummelled by a very good looking physio, silent lunch then visiting Dad until the school run.

No matter how bad anyone's day is it can't be worse than the poor man who has been designated a 'grass'. I drive passed his home on the way to school and every day a window is smashed or the wooden boardings pulled down. He's had stuff smeared over his door and then this morning his car was smashed to bits with every window gone, every panel wrecked and paint strewn all over it for good measure.
How awful for that chap, Kleio. :(

Our kitchen guy had fastened the bolts on the door, which we don't normally bother with. So Sis thought the door was stuck, gave it a whack, and apparently the glass cracked "like a ladder in tights".

That's terrible Kleo. What a way to have to live.

Morning. Knackered, not sleeping well, off to Whitby on Saturday. I hope the weather improves. the east coast seems to be a bit of a warmth free zone atm.

Oh my god, Kleio. A grass about what?! That poor chap.

Hulk Fee is the best Fee :))

I am just having a lunch break from marking :broken record: I just marked an essay that made me give them full marks, and wish I could hand over a couple of degrees and my firstborn child as well, because it was bloody excellent, so that was nice

Oh! And I am glad you are not fully broken, Bean. I'm sure you've either had those injections before or are not a massive wuss like me, but if not I could tell you stuff if that's useful.

Oof I have indigestion for some reason.

Bit bored. Everyone's off in a meeting and it's really quiet here. And hot. My brain is melting.

I've not heard the word spragged for a very long time!

I just got an email from HR old chasing me on my return to work, which they think is due to happen in November

I have been for my reflexology. She told me my right toes were my sinuses and my left foot was more sensitive because it was my feminine side. :)) I am not sure I managed to look suitably impressed/non judgey. It was lovely and relaxing, though. I could just go to sleep now.

That will be a long commute, emma.

Is your right foot *very* masculine, Bats? :(

Be prepared to feel a bit weird tomorrow Bats. Reflexology can be odd.

Does anyone remember those weird foot spas that came out 10+ years ago that were all the rage. Very expensive and apparently were magically detoxing and the water would go black. I've never had one but remember everyone banging on about them then they just vanished.

I think you can still buy them, Kleio. My Nanna had one that we sold at a car boot after she died. I bet Argos still sell them.

I'm on the bus again, but thought I'd lost my pass for a moment there. That was a panicky moment.

I'm so bored and have nothing to do, but have pilates in an hour (at work) so can't go home.

These were special ones that you could only get through a reflexologist/spa.
