We have three Chinese boarding students booked in for half term and we've already been asked to keep rooms free for them at Easter as the school have said they can't go home (or, more specifically, if they go home they can't come back until the outbreak is over). I feel so sorry for them; they only get to go home three times a year as it is so to miss one of those visits must be gutting. Although they're teenagers so maybe not :))

Poor K brother. I think I'd find that really claustrophobic and frustrating.

I'd be more pissed at the dinners than I would the time off. For some reason I thought they would be living it right up.

I saw your brother's photos of the food on offer on his twitter account. Grim! I hope the end is in sight for him soon.

My cousin and her family live in Singapore and they are having to take their temperature three times a day and submit the results to a government agency. Eeek.

Really! My cousin and his wife live in Singapore too. I haven't heard they've had to do that (not that I'd be the first person they'd tell!).

Oh no! I think my aunt and uncle are visiting my cousins in Singapore right now. (It's clearly a Turtle cousin enclave!)

That poor Walsh bloke. Anyone would think from the media reporting he was roving around infecting old ill people for laughs.

I am antibacing more often at work as I pass through a very busy transport hub constantly throughout the day.

We all got our temperatures taken in Venice airport as we went through passport control.
You have lived life thus far, tell me how you have done it?

My brother's getting out tomorrow (with everyone else). They've finally tested them all and none of them have it.

I definitely feel sorry for that guy. It's the virus that's at fault, not him!

Did they have to wait for the incubation period to be over to test them? Have I just made up the phrase “incubation period”? I bet he’s happy to be escaping, Ken!

No, other countries were testing on arrival.

He's definitely very happy to be getting out!

I can't believe he was even named. How is that legal?

I think he contacted the press himself, as far as I'm aware. It has been a bit odd that so many others have been named including one of the GPs and a child. I hope they have all consented.

There's a programme on C4 just starting now (or on +1 at 8.30) which seems (from the first two minutes) to be stoking up fear and panic - NHS can't cope, people are dying on the streets in Wuhan... It doesn't seem to be particularly troubled by actual facts, just innuendo.

Why would he contact the press himself, the halfwit?
