We have another Simon Rogan one coming next week.
I know!! My poor neighbour, alongside us, got knocked up by a courier at midnight. I've ordered it for the 11th so I'd hope that, a different restaurant and 12 months of logistical improvements mean it won't be a fucking disaster? :look:

BRB moaning in two weeks  The box does look amazing though :ready:

Is it with Dispatch? I had a bad experience with their Ixta Belfrage meal earlier this month :uhh:

Had anyone had food from Lima, since Rebs' small portion experience? I thought their current menu looked nice.

We had another very nice box from Simon Rogan yesterday. We also ordered the optional cheese and biscuits selection. Couldn’t manage everything last night, so we have the rice pudding and the rest of the cheese for today instead, hurrah.

It does. I am especially taken with the cauliflower and rice pudding.

We're trying a restaurant collection kit in a couple of weeks from here.

Ooh, I have had two of their platters (takeaway) before and it's very good.

We had this from Hawksmoor at the weekend. It was absolutely delicious, and this review from GQ is spot on -

“According to Hawksmoor, their stunning "At Home" box serves two people. If those two people are Mr Creosote and his slightly greedier brother, maybe. That is certainly not a criticism.”

We were still eating it on Monday :))

Fucking hell, I've just had a notification that our Gymkhana box, ordered for delivery on Saturday 12th Feb, is being delivered on the Monday 14th, so I've gone absolutely postal at them, especially given that they got in touch to make me pay an extra £3 for the weekend delivery that they'd accidentally left off the original invoice. Fucksake.

Oh that's shitty. They've only had a year to get the logistics right, after all :woteva:

So they didn’t respond to my email at all but I firstly received a “your order has been cancelled” email and then 40 minutes later (whilst I was hitting peak anger at the fucking cheek of ignoring my email and just cancelling the order altogether) I received a new generic confirmation email that it’ll be delivered on Saturday. Will perhaps have a back up plan ready just in case :look:

That's so rude that they haven't replied to your email! I mean I'm glad they are now delivering on Saturday but still.

Definitely have a back up plan. I hope you don't need it though.

Is this Restokit? Or direct with Gymkhana? Or someone else?

It is Restokit, I wouldn’t have bothered with them again after last year but I have a £50 apology voucher to use up anyway and assumed (HAHAHAHHAAAAA) that it would go smoothly this time.

It's particularly shit when you're using a voucher they sent you because they were so shit last time!
