I don't mind showing bra straps in normal situations (not office / formal), but these dresses are somehow cut in a way that you can see part of the bra cups, so it's just not possible.

Perhaps I'll just accessorise with cherry red Docs and get MrPG to wear a Global Hypercolour t-shirt Even if the 90s are back though, I'm not allowed to wear the stuff again, am I, having worn it the first time :(

I'll try a few vest tops and see how ridiculous I feel.

The white dress is from http://www.ecoplum.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - I just got them from a google images search though. I think that one was surprisingly expensive.

My actual dresses have less material in the bib part of the dress, and defined waist panels so can't be worn any higher / have the straps shortened to make them more decent.

If the neckline is very square then you can often see the top of the cups too, I have a couple of tops that do that, I just wear them with strappless bras and hoik them up far enough to cover the bra. :))

Oh! You can get what I can only describe as a boob tube in Urban Outfitters for stuff like this. Like, the equivalent of a vest, but with no straps. I think they'd fit the scenario here.

Now there's a fashion trend I'd forgotten about! I don't think I ever did it, but I think a t-shirt without sleeves might be OK. I have some strappy vest/camisole-type tops that I wear under shirts sometimes.
