The TV is on, there's a Sports World carrier bag on the floor and an iPad on charge. I can almost hear the groaning of the person who has just been turfed off the sofa for the photo to be taken.

The sarcophagi are probably worse though.

Especially because they were watching Friday Night Dinner from the looks of it

Horrible looking house from the outside and too much black.

What would you do if someone invited you up to their bedroom for a bit of :flirt: and you were faced with this (pic 4)?

(a) Run away screaming in horror or...
(b) Run away screaming in horror.

Nice bit of carpet in the bathroom too.

Depressing House of Depressingness would ensure there would never be any :flirt: going on anyway.

Did I ever tell you about my gay friend who went on a second date with this bloke and on the way back from the loo, walked past the spare room door and saw a full on animal suit?
That bedroom reminds me of that! Grim!

I couldn't work out what the circle in the middle of the floor is, but turns out it is a well with a glass cover. There are loads of houses here with wells in the garden but I've never come across one with it in the house before.
It gives me the :bob: a bit

I have friends with a glass covered well next to their dining table, you sort of get used to it.

It was not dissimilar!

There's a pub down the road from where Dotty used to live that has a covered well like that in the floor ~ I find it fascinating :geek:

There is a pub here in Coventry which used to be the old courthouse and has a glass cover over the steps to the cells

I think its quite cool really. I designed an extension for a friend and they've just started building, and on day one uncovered a 1m diameter, 5 m deep well. Its costing them an (unexpected) bomb to have a concrete covering designed and made to cap it off.

Did they not want to keep it open (glassed over) Smal, or was it the wrong place to be practical?

I think even if it were in the correct place, the costs involved with designing and installing a suitable glass covering would be prohibitively expensive (for them). Certainly much more costly than a concrete capping.

I want one of those wine cellars :weewee: unlikely as they cost a gazillion pounds.

I already have a well, although some idiot filled it with rubble :bite:
