I am amazed that there aren't by-laws preventing people doing this sort of thing in Kensington!

This is more of a strange and unusual listing, but check out the Streetview tab on this listing (you may have to move it around the 360 view). Oddness!

How odd, and it actually looks like a kitchen showroom!

Also, what weird photos of that house they've chosen to display. A running tap, and a gas hob - any why are those drawers open? The whole thing gives me the willies.

Is it actually a kitchen showroom? the only reason I ask is because I looked at a property on streetview recently and it took me into the inside of our local department store

I think it is a showroom. The outside seen through the windows is different from the picture showing the outside of the house.

I got sent this today as we may be looking to move later this year to a rented place with more room. It's not all out terrible but why is there an electric fireplace in the kitchen ?: . What's with all the nasty pine? I can't seem to cut and paste pictures, so if you are so inclined have a look

There's a blog that I heard about through Cerise's Mr. Sax called Ugly Belgian Houses which should be worth a mention on this thread. There's some stunners on there:

That is awful. How can you expect to rent that out in that state

I came across this recently, and lovely as it is I think I'd have to paint over it.

Gosh. Is it a B&B? That really looks like a run down B&B dining area.

Not a b&b. Just a house needing a lot of work by the looks of it

What a weirdly tiny kitchen for such a substantial house. It looks more like it belongs in a flat.
