What to wear for Wimbledon.
I wore a flowery frock last time and don't want to do that again. I want to look cool and stylish. This is hard for me. Help.

I would go for slim trousers and a silky loose top & one of your lovely scarves.

I would use the scarf to cover my eyes and spend the day asleep, it will be as much fun as watching the tennis.

I have an absolutely beautiful cobalt blue silk and cashmere scarf and would like to base my outfit around that I think. I do have cream skinny trousers. I could look for an appropriate top.

I spent a long time waiting for coffee at my usual place (Dropshot - you'll pass it on your stroll up to the courts!) watching the Wimbledon fashion this morning. White/cream is very popular. As are floral dresses with plimsolls/dad sandals. Your outfit sounds perfect.

I'd go for something that I knew would be cool to wear, so linen or cotton trousers and a simple short-sleeved or sleeveless top. Plus a hat. With shades and a bright lippie and some chunky statement jewellery.

Re: What to wear for Wimbledon.
I would not look good in that. Although I was looking at loose linen trousers in Next that were quite nice. The trouble with linen though is that it looks like you are wearing a rag after about 5 minutes. Also me and white trousers really won't end well.
I ordered some green slim fitting cargo pants from Next and had visions of them with tan wedge sandals and a white t-shirt but if course they are enormous on me as Next thinks the width of your legs expands dramatically when you go up a dress size. I really don't want to go in an actual shop though.

Obviously that means you really won’t want to go anywhere near a store.
Dotty P do that weird adding massive saddle bags to the thigh area of trousers too. That is not where I carry my flab.

Pippo found me a dress which wasn't my plan but Zirk likes it and has bought it for me. It hasn't arrived yet but I hope it looks nice on. It's so pretty.
