We had this tonight. I made it yesterday to save time so the sauce kind of disappeared into the pasta!wendy james wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2019 7:46 pm I’ll be having that pumpkin dish next week! I have a box of squash coming.![]()
I think my squash was a bit sweet (I could only get hold of a BNS) but nevertheless it was very nice... is there a vegan alternative to Worcestershire sauce? I had to sprinkle some over to counteract the sweetness a bit.
We'd have it again but would add probably fry some onions and soaked porcini mushrooms to give it a bit more oomph.

Re: Weekly meals plan
Jusst reporting back that it was indeed very good! I should have reduced the sauce a bit more first but it was delicious.
This week has been a bit hit and miss as we are away on Friday so we had:
S. Roast chicken dinner
M. Chicken salad sandwiches
T. Mushroom Shawarma which was absolutely delicous. The courgette hummous was amazing (I was worried it would be a bit of a mushy mess)
W. Chicken gyros
T. Beef and gravy rolls
Lunches have been leftover from the freezer.

We had it on Friday and I enjoyed it. Even Sproglette ate some and she’s not a squash fan generally. Elvis wasn’t keen mind. :ella:
This week:
Sausage, mash and veg
Stuffed squash and Swiss chard
Harissa humus, roasted veg and freekeh salad
3-cheese veg packed pasta bake
Cauliflower, coriander seed and coconut curry
Lentil ragu with a spaghetti

We used normal yoghurt the second time we made it and it was just as nice.
We're having the tandoori carrots from the same site tonight.
