But you have four pieces in a column that says three.
ETA and two in the last column that says three

Oh, I thought it was just the rows, I’d lost that bit in the screen grab Scrub that.

I think this works (red line).
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

I couldn't do it in a linear fashion; I had to put blobs on the fixed points, count them and add xs to squares that couldn't hold a piece of track until I'd narrowed the possibilities down.
