I just started watching Love Life on iPlayer and it’s much better than Emily in Paris! ;)

Harlots series 3 starts on BBC2 next Wednesday at 9, for anyone who may be interested.

Has anyone watched Dave (the Jewish rapper)? I’m watching it on streaming but google tells me it was on BBC/iplayer earlier this year. I’m finding it utterly hilarious.

I have never heard of it sorry Est.
We have just finished a good Welsh drama called Hidden if anyone fancies a bit of Scandi noir, but set in North Wales. Partly in Welsh, but with subtitles and on catch up tv.
There are two series, both self contained stories, and really creepy and atmospheric.

Ooh. I thought I had seen it when you first posted that but that was the other Welsh Scandi noir. I fancy that.
Is anyone watching Industry? I wouldn't have expected to enjoy a programme about merchant banking but it's very engaging, although there are two blonde men I can't tell apart. Iplayer.

I've only seen the adverts for Dave. I like to repeat in a robotic voice my.name.is.Dave at random intervals.
We're watching the Valhalla Murders on BBC4 at the moment, set in Iceland.

Oh yes, we're watching that too, although it seems to have the same plot as the Welsh programme I thought was Hidden but isn't.

Um, has anyone seen Raised By Wolves? I thought it was some Caitlin Moran shit so have avoided but now I think I might have got the wrong end of the stick?
OK I've looked the synopsis for episode one and it definitely isn't Caitlin Moran.

There's a new series on Sky Atlantic which is nothing to do with her* - I've just discovered - but she did have a series of that name, didn't she.

Oh I see, I was thinking of the Ch4 thing that was definitely her. I didn't realise there was another programme of the same name.

Re: Recommendations for other channels - ye olde TV
We are up to episode 3, it’s a really interesting premise, and the first two episodes were good.
Episode 3 has been a little slower, but I haven’t watched enough of it yet to know if I would recommend the whole series.
Definitely nothing to do with Caitlin Moran.
What’s the other Welsh noir Goat, is that Hinterland?

I was sure that Tom Hardy was in it from seeing the trailers, but apparently not! I think the person I was mistaking for him must be Travis Fimmel, based on the cast list.
Anyway I’ve got it saved on my Q box but haven’t watched it yet...

Has anybody else seen the trailer for Black Narcissus? I’ve never been able to get hold of the film so quite fancy it.

I just saw the trailer before Andrew Marr. It does look good.
I loved Hidden (the actress is one of my favourites) and also Hinterland. Welsh Noir

I’m watching Hinterland at the moment and feeling real hiraeth for Aber. Which is hilarious as it’s all I ever felt (for home) while I lived there.

Thanks Hobbes. I've just started episode one. It's definitely not Caitlin Moran.
