Re: Strange & Unusual Houses
Nothing particularly strange or unusual about this, but would you be happy if you had paid a company to sell your flat, and this is how the world sees the floor plan?

This one is for sale in my current suburb. Totally normal, if slightly cluttered house. This one does have strong footballer vibes though. However pic 23 got me with the interestingly located fridge and hot drinks set up.

I’m just amused you think it’s slightly cluttered.

If you were selling in France, you'd be thrilled, and telling everyone how amazing your EAs were, measuring rooms and providing buyers with an actual floor plan :))

That fridge/kettle situation is so odd! I think it's cluttered too, for a house that is for sale. Get rid of all the family photos, tidy up the cables, remove desk clutter etc. Put your weird kettle away. :))

And move the can of air freshener away from the toilet.

Re: Strange & Unusual Houses
It's somehow extremely basic and a bit bling at the same time. I hate it.

I don't think there's much clutter but I hate all the grey in it, and I agree with Emma's description of it!

Re: Strange & Unusual Houses
Me neither! I looked again and I think most of it is a hamfisted attempt at lifestyle styling. They probably don't even know the people in the photos. The thing that ires me is WHAT PRICE IS THIS MASSIVE HOUSE WITH ALL THE TERRIBLE "ART" so I can mutter bitterly to myself about it? :))

Re: Strange & Unusual Houses
I’ve had another look & I can see that the office is a bit untidy & there are a few little things like a cable under a sofa and shock, horror, a can of air freshener in the bathroom  But honestly, it’s somebody’s home so it wouldn’t put me off it. I’d hope that people could look past a few little bits that didn’t get tidied up.

It’s really easy to make a place look pristine for photos though - literally just put things out of shot and then move them back. It’s the work of moments and makes a huge difference.

Re: Strange & Unusual Houses
Now I’m worried that my house looked bare for our real estate photos! Yeah, like Edith says, I expect things to be moved out of the way for the shots.
Price wise I reckon those sellers are after $1.5m.
