I saw Come From Away tonight - it was one of the best shows I have ever seen (and I have seen some great shows) highly recommend.

I just looked that up. It sounds rather lovely.
I've booked for my Mum and I to go and see Manor later this month at the National. It sounds like it should be fun and a bit Agatha Christie ish, with Shaun Evans and Nancy Carroll.
I'm also going to the RFH tomorrow to see the RPO. Co My friend is in the orchestra so a meet up for food and drink beforehand too. I feel like I'm getting my going out mojo back a bit. :))

Went to see Back to the Future the musical last night - really cheesy fun. Started a little slow, I thought, but soon ramped up and the stage effects are really good

I’ve just snagged me and my mum matinee tickets to the Cabaret revival with Eddie Redmayne this week!

I did mildly loathe Eddie Redmayne briefly after he spoke against Jo Rowling, but he subsequently dialled it back a bit, so now I detest him slightly less.

Last Saturday I was at Sadlers Wells to see Matthew Bourne's Nutcracker, a true delight (I had seen his first version years ago and this is quite different).

Oh I love Matthew Bourne stuff, Annabella! I saw the first version too.
I was supposed to see The Nutcracker last week by Scottish Ballet, but it has been cancelled due to restrictions here. They've reallocated the tickets to the Snow Queen next January! We had these tickets because we were due to see Swan Lake back in May 2020

Goodness Sally that's a long time to wait. The liquorice all sorts were a flamenco dance troupe in this version - totally fabulous. I think there are some sequences on You Tube.

I'm hoping to see Suzanne Vega mid February. It's so funny. We bought the tickets Christmas 2019 when I was living up the road from the initial venue and hadn't even started to properly think about leaving the city. It was then rebooked 3 different times and cancelled and moved to the Barbican. Fingers crossed it goes ahead a mere two years late :))

I have tickets for a streaming of La Traviata and a local production of Les Liaisons Dangereuses, both in April.

I saw Pride and Prejudice Sort Of on Saturday - absolutely hilarious and very cleverly done. Book of Mormon next week.

I saw this earlier tonight and it was breathtaking. Absolutely stunning.

I didn't realise the discounted theatre ticket sale for London shows was running until the end of March - so I've just booked Six for mid March.

Re: Theatre and other live performances
I had a last minute invitation to the theatre last night to see Singin’ In The Rain. It was really good! Faye Tozer was the only name I knew but all four of the main people were excellent. The theatre was far from full and we had tonnes of space around us which was nice for my first post-covid trip but must be crippling for the theatres.
