We've never had it either to our knowledge, but with A in school and the amount of anti-vaxxers/anti-maskers around here, I'm sure it's just a matter of time.

My neighbour, who's mum died of Covid back at the very start, told me this week she's not getting the booster, although she's been double-vaxed. :woteva:

I also haven’t had it, but I’ve been working from home throughout and haven’t been out much. I’m amazed Youngest hasn’t caught it and passed it on as he’s been at school, hanging out with his friends and spent NYE in a Wetherspoons, he’s double vaccinated though and we’ll get him boosted as soon as he’s eligible.

My family all had it December 2020, my mum and I were in hospital, I’m still on blood thinners for blood clot’s.

Fucking hell, Vag. I had no idea. How long were you in for? I would also be very bitter about being front line and unprotected.

I knew Bendy had had it bad. How are you now?

I'm fine now, I have a bit less breathe than I used to have, as evidenced by my inability to hold a long note at choir But I'll take that, I'm just happy to have come through it and out the other side

Thanks guys I’m fine now so is my mum, she got covid first I caught it from her, she got admitted to hospital first I got admitted on Christmas Day 2020 I was pumped full of drugs and sent home, then re-admitted back on the 27th December and I was on one ward and my mum on the next. I was on oxygen, a lot of drugs x rays, CT scan , blood thinner at one point I had 4 cannula’ s on me. We got discharged on 2nd of Jan 21

but I was taken back to hospital on the 5th Jan as I took a turn for the worse seems covid attacking my brain so had psychotic episode I was nearly sectioned. I have no memory of what I was doing what was going on. Those few days are a blur I can’t really explain. The nurses said to my family I was just crying and wouldn’t talk to the nurses, so they weren’t allowed to see me at first. That time I had to have lumbar punch, MIR scan, under mental health team

I had 6 months off and went back in June 2021 just waiting to come off of blood thinners.

So yeah that was fun :))

Yeah it was shit and I was super super cafeful, I’ve no time for people who say covid is not real, just trust you immune system, don’t need mask, social distancing etc.

ETA I was using bleach spray to wipe down any desk at work
