Re: Hey! Good lookin’!
I’ve not been able to get bread for several days due to the floods and impacts on shops, so I made some mozzarella and bacon parcels for the kids lunches instead of sandwiches.

Re: Hey! Good lookin’!
We just had tempura oyster baps. The bread rose a little more than I expected so it was rather a lot of bread.
Oh and filthy weekend lunch that I made up as I went along based on odds and ends in the fridge. Potato and spring onion rosti, melted red Leicester, crispy fried egg, peanut rayu.

First pancakes of the day. Oat + banana topped with Greek yoghurt and maple roasted figs.

They look fantastic, Cos! The figs
I’m going to give oat pancakes a go, probably with some honeyed whateverfruitisinthefreezer.

Oat pancakes are so easy. 50g oats, 2 eggs, 2 bananas, whizz them all up, panfry.

Thank you for that - your recipe looks a lot less faff than the one I was looking at. And the results look terrific!

I just made a batch of Cos’ oat pancakes and they were lush. Not in the least bit photogenic though.

Lunch pancake (leftover rice + some grated cheese mixed up with some egg + flour + milk to make a cheesy, carby pancake) topped with some leftover chilli.

Are you going for a pancake hat trick, Cos?
I made a large herby pancake with smoked salmon, crème fraiche, hollandaise and eggs.

Excellent pancake action!
I made traditional crepes (I had maple syrup, MrE had honey and S had lemon and sugar, J opted for shop bought pikelet with strawberries) but they were eaten too quickly for photos.

Oh my goodness, all the pancakes look delicious - we are having ours tomorrow as youngest is away tonight, plus we’ve had to eat a ton of Welsh cakes instead, as Welsh law demands on this day.
We had this Camembert and potato pie, wasn’t pretty to look at, but it was simple to make, and my god, it was delicious!
