Ha! He had no idea of the bundle of kinetic energy he was dealing with Loving the shed btw.
At the other end of the scale, I've just been having some lovely g&ts in the garden and admiring how neat the amazing George left the place after 5 hours of hard graft on Thursday. It goes jungly so quickly!

I will have to take tins of g&t to the allotment as that sounds like a pleasing way to view your garden.
Thank you for the shed love. I particularly like how subtle it is.

It's so jolly the blue back with white flower can't really be seen from my plot as it's right up against the fence with my neighbours. I hope they appreciate it you can see that side ad you drive round, which really cheers me up

Ahhhh! I absolutely love your cheery shed!
Our sunflowers are going well, even despite some neglect whilst we were away, (First thing A did as soon as we arrived home was to check on them ) and I managed a couple of vases of random wildflowers out of the field.

It's stressful being away, especially when it's really warm they look great!

Now I have a gate! Two more old boys came over to give me compliments about my plot while I was painting it. I think I've surprised them all with my speed
And this is a finished compost heap, and I've planted delphiniums, foxgloves, allium, honesty and aquilegia in front of it. So it should look a bit less blue and plastic next year.

It’s just amazing. An allotment is your true calling Baa Dimmock. How soon until you can harvest something?

Re: Grubbing in the dirt
I am already harvesting a strange medley of hybrid mutant courgettes! Some raspberries and blackberries are edible too. Leeks will be done late autumn/winter, potatoes in Sept/Oct. Not sure about the sweetcorn, maybe Sept?Epponnee Rae wrote: ↑Fri Jul 22, 2022 3:45 pm It’s just amazing. An allotment is your true calling Baa Dimmock. How soon until you can harvest something?

You have really transformed that at turbo speed, I wish I lived closer so I could benefit from any over production

I only seem to exist at this speed once I make a decision to do something, then it has to happen. I thought this was normal speed

I suspect that if you and I were smushed together, we'd make a normal-speed person. My spirit animal is a sloth, whereas yours is a cheetah
