Those all look wonderful!
Eta: I’ve just remembered the reason it didn’t turn out well is because I haven’t got a cast iron pot .
Thank you, the last recipe I tried wasn’t massively successful so I’m going to try this .Estrella wrote: ↑Sat Aug 27, 2022 11:12 pm It was genuinely no effort to make at all. Easiest recipe ever: https://www.recipetineats.com/easy-yeas ... -no-knead/

You don't really need a cast iron pot. Just a pot big enough, able to go in the oven and has a lid.
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.

Thank you! I’ve got a thing like this (that my mum and I used to call a Cook n’ Look ) so I’ll try it.

Re: Hey! Good lookin’!
I harvested our beetroot yesterday and it’s all been cooked at once to save gas. Wedges for lunch today, whole for dinner tomorrow and the rest will be sliced and pickled.
Lunch was beetroot and orange salad, with pine nuts #millionaire and crusty bread.

Re: Hey! Good lookin’!
I made a beetroot dip today Wendy which might be something a bit different
Tin of cannellini beans
Onion and garlic granules
Lemon juice
Salt pepper
And any other seasonings like paprika chilli etc
It's tastes so creamy compared to hummus

Another loaf. My first one was just big standard plain flour, this one is half plain, half strong bread/pizza flour. Yet to cut it to see the difference inside though.

Great looking bread!
J and I made meringues and I served them how my mum used to (though she made hers in the microwave): with toffee sauce and squirty cream.

J and I made cake together today. He actually ate it too which is very unlike him.

After watching the latest series of Chef’s Table I was desperate to try Pizzeria Bianco’s rosa pizza and since I’m not heading to Phoenix, Arizona and time soon we had to settle for homemade. Parmesan, red onion, rosemary and crushed pistachios. So simple and unbelievably good! It’s maybe the perfect early autumn pizza.
