Little M, I didn't think they were rolling out the jab to everyone this year, so I was surprised when they all got a text.

The Journalist has just gone down with it for the first time. He aches and has a cough and has isolated himself in the spare room. I've tested negative and feel fine.
I was away at my mum's for five days so I think he caught it while I was away. I've been up and down the stairs with meals and drinks.

I've been invited for a covid jab but I'm not sure I'm going to have it. I will have a flu jab same as I usually do. I had a funny reaction to my last (Moderna) booster that found me in A&E with a racing heartbeat so I'm wary.

The covid booster I had a few weeks ago Tsu was Pfizer. Tired the next day but no effects other than that.

I had a Pfizer Bivalent BA4.5 as my last booster (4th vaccination) and I was fine afterwards. I felt like I’d been hit by a truck after my Moderna one though.

I'm still considering it. I've tested negative twice but TJ is still isolating in the spare room, bless him.. He feel okay (a bit achy) but is really adamant that he won't pass it on to me if he can help it.

Mum got a Pfizer jab about 3 weeks ago and had no awfulness but she has just also caught Covid. She says it feels like a mild cold this time whereas last time she had it she couldn’t get off the sofa so I’m pleased she got her booster!

I'm surprised you'd been allowed to have your booster so close to having Covid. I thought you had to leave a number of weeks between them.

I had the Pfizer and I was fine afterwards but 5 days later I've started to come down with a cold. I don't know if they're linked but I've got a sore neck, my glands are up and I've got a runny nose and a bit of a cough.

Over here you’re not allowed a booster for 3 months after infection with Covid. I do wonder if that’s why you felt so awful, Rosy.

Yes, you need to leave a 3 month gap here too.

I’ve not felt very poorly after any COVID vaccine, and I’ve tried them all. The flu jab last year really made my arm hurt badly for days though.
