Re: Dogs
Really well. She's just had a couple of accidents in the house. We took her for her first walk down the street this morning. Though we didn't get far as the postman in his van stopped as he had a parcel to deliver so had to go back home and then out again with her! Coped fine with a couple of cars going past and the postman chatting to us. Wasn't bothered by the two Alsations near us barking at her through their window.
She's like a teenager for sleeping in the morning though :))

Re: Dogs
Also good luck with the doggo visit tomorrow. Hopefully your trip will be less eventful than ours. Flooded roads & nearly ending up in the nearby prison(thanks satnav)!

Apparently rescue dogs sleep A Lot - Rosco is forever snoozing. It's all they spend their time doing, I suppose. Any more photos please?
Good luck tomorrow Est!

Re: Dogs
She’s so chill and relaxed. Look at her
So the guy got back to me and in the interim he had someone else organise to go and see her so he’s getting in touch if that doesn’t work out. I’m on a mission now and have found a few others that will be ready for new homes before Christmas. We are debating a name - either Padme or Rey. I wanted Gretchen but have been overruled.

Both her parents are short haired, so she will be too. Her dad was the sweetest boy ever. He sat down and hung out with the kids while they played with the puppies. I’ve got her collar and car harness and crate sorted out now.

Re: Dogs
I don’t believe so, Zooms. Even in hotter, more humid parts of Australia like the Northern Territory they’re still the go-to Police dog. Obviously my dogs have access to lots of shade, fresh water and are in the air con inside too
