Oh my, Tsu. I hope you are being well looked after.
Marth, that's terrible of them.

It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

Oh no, really hope you're ok. Can the Journo follow you in a taxi with a bag of things you need?

I was moved in the night. They're really busy. Still no review of the scam but they're feeding me. I still feel like shit though.

Latest news is a large cyst pressing on my bile duct.
No news as to what they plan to do about it.
Bloody polycystic disease

That sounds rough. Do they think that's what's been causing you to feel so unwell?

They're not sure. They tend to think not so now they're running tests for infections.
Unusually, for a surgical team, they're not keen on cutting me open so I thank god for small mercies.

Re: Testing times - Covid in 2022
Glad you're getting some answers and hopefully you can get a useful plan soon. You're in the same ward I was in, it's called surgical because that's what most people end up in (there were lots of appendicitis cases etc when I was there) but it's basically a post emergency admission holding cell. ;) Sorry I know you know that and are just being light-hearted, don't mean to be patronising .
I never got moved onto ENT because of bed issues, do they have plans to send you to somewhere more specialist or not until they're sure about the problem? I think a lot of my problems stemmed from surgical washing their hands of me because I was ENT, but ENT never being there as they were based somewhere totally different, so actually it could be good to be seen as surgical for the rest of your time there which I hope is short!
Hope someone can come into be with you and bring some stuff, I think the unexpected nature of a sudden admission is really difficult, and it's hard to have to keep on the ball without someone else to be listening for important stuff and thinking of questions.
Also if you're going to be there a while because you're complicated ;) can you ask for a proper bed rather than a trolley? I finally got one half way through the final night and it made so much difference to comfort, even just when you're sitting up and not sleeping.
Glad you have food, hope you're getting any medication you need too.
