ISN'T IT BRILLIANT?! Everyone is such a snob. I liked the couple who considered coasters frightfully common. And the one who tiled up only one of the two alcoves to be a bit different.

I'm watching this now :lol:. The delusions are staggering. 'My idea of Hell would be Aberystwyth' . Talk about random. All the talk about how other people's houses are similar - the vast majority of houses are basically similar, aren't they? Unless you live in a cave or a yurt or something.

Yes, definitely now but perhaps even more so then when most people in a particular town would be shopping from the same two department stores? I remember very well when my mum got a new set of crockery and was so pleased with it until Deidre Barlow got the same one. :lol:

I love that house. Something about it reminds me of my paternal grandmother. She's been gone over 40 years, now. I don't know why, but I could see her living in it. Love that period.
