Is that a vintage Jamie Oliver recipe? I'm sure I've made it before. It sounds lush. I do like a borlotti bean.

It is yes! Rosa first brought it to my attention quite a while ago. Right, I need to get on the case.

It wasn’t but only because I forgot I needed to save my mushrooms and green pepper for it so found a recipe with no vegetables  I will do both your suggestions another time though as they both look/sound great.
Mongolian lamb looks good. My local Chinese makes it.

I’d never heard of Mongolian lamb before but the recipe said it’s a staple in Chinese restaurants. It was really good, super quick and easy and will go on regular rotation here.

This is George's favourite dinner so I made it one last time before I start to cook more spring-like food.

Parmesan garlic fries from Saturday night and from this evening, the first pizza oven pizza of the year! The dough needed more salt but it was pretty good.

Mr J made lasagne last night too. It was so good - with the little cheese sandwich layers. He made tons so we have lots left for the freezer and a separate one to give away (he has work friends who just had a baby)

And for those of you who didn’t already see via the socials - L asked for a ‘spaguette’ for dinner the other night. And today at our lunch sub station he created an equally epic sized sandwich
