I did this too and it was super easy, and not bad value if you are dashing around on the metro lots. I bought mine via the Paris 2024 Transport app, didn’t need to download Navigo, just got a pass on my phone wallet that activated the first time I went through a ticket barrier in Paris.Marth wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2024 6:25 pmThanks, Pip.Pippedydeadeye wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2024 6:00 pm Yes, the Navigo pass covers both airports, CDG and Orly.
I'm excited!

I did not expect Tom Cruise jumping off the roof of the stadium!
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

Yeah I assume it was some kind of flare that was supposed to go off. Explains why he was all over Paris!

I love that there is just a bunch of people continuing with their beach football game and ignoring RHCP

I have to say I have no idea how much of the vocal tonight has been live, but if it is, their sound tech is exceptional.

I thought it was attached to the cable so he could control his descent at the bottom.Epponnee Rae wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2024 10:47 pm Yeah I assume it was some kind of flare that was supposed to go off. Explains why he was all over Paris!

I also thought he was controlling his descent, as he was kind of ratcheting himself down?

Re: Paris 2024
I was rather pleased at the idea that his stunt had gone partly wrong, but that does seem sadly more likely :))
I thought it was good generally, although after all the emphasis on parity and inclusivity, the US having one cyclist, one singer, and one twerking dancer as the sole representation of women was rather disheartening. Much as I enjoy all the male 60 year old artists of my youth surfing on their popularity. I suppose to be fair there was a woman singing their national anthem too.
