I happen to love anything purple/aubergine, Hazey so I'm already a fan! The cut is lovely, too.

Great coat Hazey! Purple is my favourite colour 💜

I recently bought these trousers in the sales. They are made of a heavy modal jersey and hang beautifully. Unfortunately the matching top is sold out everywhere but the trousers are amazing. I've worn them non-stop. The manufacturers called the trousers + top a "Netflix suit".

I managed to get something from the M&S x Bella Freud collection. I was torn between blue & black. But also bought a black silk shirt (from the Life Completion List (TM) ) so felt I should go for a bit of colour.

Pip, last year you might remember I copied your M&S ombré sequinned skirt. In fact you linked me to one on Vinted. I suddenly remembered I had it so wore it to an evening wedding reception the other day. Thanks! :))

Igor this oversized blazer in the charity shop the other day. Also a French Connection dark grey double breasted peacock.

Ooh, nice!

I was thinking about that skirt the other day and when it might get an airing from me. I was thinking black silk shirt. What did you wear with yours?

Black silk shirt sounds very nice.

Well, I only remembered the skirt’s existence about an hour before going so I didn’t really have any specific top in mind. I had this top which is the same dark blue to the naked eye so wore this tucked in. With a sparkly necklace which mimicked the glinting of the sequins.

Thank you. The skirt has made me realise the fine knit midnight blue jumper with sheer long sleeves would have been a good match with the skirt. It sounds weird but was nice. It lived in my chesterdraws for 6-8 years never being worn and I think I finally sent it to charity earlier this year. Mind you perhaps the arms were a step too far with the skirt sparkle.

I've been wishing I hadn't thrown out loads of things at the moment with all the 90s fashion coming back.

I was disappointed that the burgundy jumper and skirt set I thought would see me through the holiday season but it turned out to be a bad burgundy and I decided to give this wrap top a try to go with the black version of the skirt. It's not the exact weight of the skirt but they look perfect together. I know I'll get a lot of wear from them. As I mentioned on the Tues thread the top is reversible and it genuinely looks good both ways and doesn't reveal any bra! It feels a bit 90s actually.

90s is the best way! I really like that. I do love a ballet cardigan.

That's a great cardigan!

I bought a jumper a while back that is getting its first outing today. It is so warm and cozy!

It's definitely jumper weather. That looks very snuggly.

I have no money but don't care. I have bought this jumper to cheer myself up. Just looking at it lifts my spirits; so many of my clothes are black, black, BLACK! Lock me in a cupboard and feed me pins! PINS!

I think I want a nice jumper for Christmas but not a novelty one. :puzz:

I have ordered these velvet trousers from M&S after getting a Sparks offer & a chat with my friend about Christmas co-ords. And Ella showed me a lovely velvet blazer yesterday. I have been influenced. :))
