Re: Vinted
Do you get properly snide stuff on Vinted like you do eBay?
I have bought (and sold) loads and never had an issue so far, just wondering if anybody else has.

Probably. The number of Longchamp bags on there is ... unlikely ... especially given how easy they are to fake.
They do have some sort of verification service for proper designer stuff but I don't know how reliable it is.

I uploaded some adidas predator football boots and they took 24 hours to be approved.

I’ve got a woman on Vinted saying she can’t make the payment button work and she’ll send the money to my bank account. She can fuck right off, can’t she?

I've currently got £40 in my balance. I'm quite excited by this.
Partner's miniature trousers are still not attracting any interest though.

Yeah, I’d originally accepted her offer and reserved the skirt but she was messaging every couple of hours saying she couldn’t pay so I’m ignoring her and have unreserved it. I’d rather take it to the charity shop than deal with a fuckwit.
I’ve reduced a few things now but I might delete them and try again over the Easter weekend when the shops are shut in the Sunday.

I don't reserve anything, so many people don't respond when you accept offers it doesn't seem worth it.
Also I know I sometimes send out loads of offers on the same thing and just buy whichever accepts first.

Snide is very old slang for dodgy/fake gear.

I think you probably do, there's much less protection from a buyer side than there is on eBay.

Re: Vinted
I bid on a jumper recently but my bid was refused. She messaged me to say it was as good as new etc etc. When I didn't reply, she sent me a counter-bid. I said no thank you and then she sent me a whole barrage of messages - it was in good nick, an expensive brand, I clearly wanted it, why didn't I reply, hello?, ?????? This was all in the space of 2 hours while I was at work! So I messaged her to say I'd found the same jumper elsewhere. New barrage of messages - her jumper was in excellent nick, she was willing to sell for my original bid, hello, ????? The woman was doing my head in! I finally got her to shut up when I repeated my lie about having found the same thing elsewhere. It felt like haggling on a market in Asia!

Blimey. I hope you’ve since blocked her.
