Mine is the same Pip. We take turns to food shop , but I always cook, so I make the shopping list and plan what we are having. It always tends to be the same stuff. I ask others if they fancy anything different, ' I'm easy' is the usual answer. Even with a takeaway it's often 'You decide'.

I'm also terrible at meal planning and everyone always has the same answer when I ask what they'd like. Liv: pasta, George and S: rice.
So I just cook what I want and everyone else has to deal with it.
A full roast dinner with beef is a stupid suggestion for a sunny saturday evening. Roast chicken, salad, baguette is perfect.

All my people are ‘not hungry’ when I’m trying to plan future meals. Admittedly I often go off piste with any plans I do make, but it’s useful to shop in advance and have ideas up your sleeve.
These are all the same people who lament that there’s nothing to eat, as if a fully formed meal will jump out at them.

IWLTS we haven’t forgotten you know. You still can’t just stick a fence across a public footpath.
Entitled neighbours have put a fence up and are claiming the county council have said it’s fine despite no public consultation and the parish council knowing nothing about it. Clearly I need to start walking the dog that way regularly.

It is likely that I will be running through there in the next two to three weeks, let me know if you 'accidentally' want a fence kicked in.Texaco Shirley wrote: ↑Wed Apr 30, 2025 9:02 pm IWLTS we haven’t forgotten you know. You still can’t just stick a fence across a public footpath.

Re: IWLTS
Well, you could all make a point of crossing the fence and running on the official side…. :)) (it’s quite a substantial fence, I wouldn’t want anyone to injure themselves kicking it).Topcat wrote: ↑Wed Apr 30, 2025 10:05 pmIt is likely that I will be running through there in the next two to three weeks, let me know if you 'accidentally' want a fence kicked in.Texaco Shirley wrote: ↑Wed Apr 30, 2025 9:02 pm IWLTS we haven’t forgotten you know.
