That table is so clever! And your dining chairs are gorgeous.

I finally managed to pick up my crockery today from upthrwad and I love it. The couple is 🤩

I also got some throws for our fabric sofa in the tv room as I’ve washed the covers today and needed something to make it a bit more dog-protected. And S spotted this bedding and fell in love with it so I bought it for her (as it was mega on sale and practically free!)

We finally ordered a new sofa for our not-dining room (any more). I look forward to sitting comfortably downstairs when everyone else is watching something different in the living room. I know navy velvet is super popular & basic, but I really like it & think I’ll look good in the room.

I’m super basic then as I would LOVE a navy velvet seat. That’s just beautiful 😍

Not basic, but classic. It's very smart.

That bedding is lovely too. New bedding always makes me feel good.

this is not a purchase, but is another take on the space saving table idea

Slightly inconvenient, as you'd have to move the things off the shelves to use it, but a great idea for anyone who usually eats off a tray but wants a table for occasional use.

The chairs arrived yesterday (unannounced, so it's just as well we were in!), and I can confirm that they are very comfy. They are slightly higher than the old ones, so fingers crossed they will be the right height for the new table when it gets here (Friday, apparently). I do love them though, and they are a great match for the gold lampshade too :frolic:

The chairs are lovely and that’s a very exciting table :)).

I have ordered a massive basket to house the clutter that lives on top of the dryer (which sits on top of the washing machine). It’s taken me absolutely ages to find something the right size that doesn’t break the bank so I hope it’s nice when it arrives.

It looks lovely.

I need some very specific basket-slash-drawers too. I was expecting to find them immediately on the Ikea site but annoyingly you can only sort by small medium and large.

That is lovely, Squizz. I need something similar but not massive to sit by the sofa to store all my detritus :)). I really am Pigpen, and am trying to curb my ways.

I have bought these as the absolutely final spend on my dining room. They are to make the black table feel less lonely.

I like those, Morgs. Will you show us when you've put your dining room together? I too am looking for something to hold the things I like to have next to the sofa, but not on display. I cannot find the perfect solution.

Thank you all.

I shall, Five. The shelves should be done by the end of November, and the curtains are now arriving next Friday, so a few weeks should see it finished :bounce:

(before the repaint, that is :ella: )

I just ordered this rug which I’ve coveted for ages as I think it’s being discontinued:

It’s been a long journey and we bought it direct from the manufacture the in the end, but the rug is finally here! It’s made from recycled plastic bottles but you’d never know. Feels just like wool.

I wonder if the kids will notice?!
